Pat has been a member of Blue Mountain Power Co-op's Board of Directors since 2002. He previously served as Chairman from 2003 to 2008 and as Vice-Chairman from 2008 to 2015.

During his career, Pat worked for Imperial Oil where he operated wells and compressor stations and oversaw facility and pipeline construction. In addition, Pat and his wife Patricia have owned and operated the Carlos Valley Ranch, north of Leslieville, since 1973. He has four children and eight grandchildren.
