Blue Mountain Power Co-op (BMPC) is currently seeking a detail orientated team player, who has a ‘can-do and will-do’ attitude!
This position works in the Member/Billing Services Department to handle member billing inquiries and billing changes. This position also works to ensure the monthly utility bills are produced and delivered on a timely basis. This is a dynamic role that is suited for someone who is a people person but is also technically savvy. Our focus and priority is serving our members and it needs to be yours as well.
Requirements for this position:
- Able to answer phones and direct calls efficiently
- Utility billing knowledge is an asset, but training will be provided
- AP & AR knowledge is an asset, but training will be provided
- Skilled with all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Detail-oriented and demonstrated competency in analysis, process improvement and problem-solving
- Meticulous note taking abilities
- Energetic, fast learner
- Excellent level of oral communication skills
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Enjoy dealing with general public (membership) in person and on the phone
- Able to multi-task
- Punctual and reliable
- Well-groomed and presentable
