We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Member Service Representative to join our Member Services team. In this call center role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, handling inquiries and requests related to their electrical services and utility billing. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional service, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and respond to Member inquiries regarding utility billing
- Provide accurate information, and resolve issues related to Member concerns
- Process and maintain Member contracts and records
- Process service requests, including service connections, disconnections, etc
- Assist in timely monthly production of utility bills
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of Member interactions and transactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or relevant certifications preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment is a plus
- Aptitude for conflict resolution
- Energetic, fast-learner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent level of oral communication skills
- Utility billing knowledge is an asset but willing to train
